Karah’s childhood years were spent in Iowa, Missouri and Illinois before she ultimately settled in Kansas. Frequent moves during childhood fostered an early passion for styling; each new room became a blank canvas for a new design.

She earned her degree from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. After graduation, she lived in downtown Chicago near Wrigley Field, where the city’s architecture, culinary scene and retail offerings further fueled her love for aesthetics. She first traveled to Paris, France at 14 years old and then made her way to Italy, England, Switzerland & Belgium, resulting in a love for all things travel & design.

Following a role running a retail website for a large paper company, Karah launched her own business creating custom invitations, stationery and corporate holiday cards. Today she directs that same creative energy toward creating interiors that are layered, cozy and welcoming.
